Practical water-repellent products made from natural materials
The Flow By Moonstar trademark grew out of our seasonal coat, the idea for which we had in mid-2019 when yet another rainy day made us long for a good cape under which we could hide. Our love for natural materials made us think long and hard about how we could create a coat that is simultaneously breathable, windproof, water-repellent, and made from natural fabrics. During our quest we met a fabric manufacturer who treats materials with a special coating to improve their water-repellent and UV-protection properties. We are still engaged in product development to improve the water-resistance of the coats so that you can be better protected even in a rainstorm.
Coats
seasonal coat 50% linen / 50% cotton
- Composition: Primary material – 50% linen, 50% cotton;
Additional details on the inside – 100% polyester. - The fabric has been treated with Teflon fabric protector and is UV protected.
- Piped side pockets with a flap.
- Zippered breast pocket.
- Hood with snap fasteners to adjust its height.
- Snap fasteners for adjusting the cuff width.
- Zippered underarm vents.
- Additional vent under the back yoke.
- Effective and soft textile details on the insides of cuffs, at the bottom hem of the jacket and the inner hem of the hood, giving the product more character and providing more comfort in places where the fabric touches the skin.
- Waterproof rating of 700 mm.
- Water repellency grade 6 (out of 6).
- Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate guarantees that the materials used are tested for harmful substances and they are safe for human use.
Care instructions
Remove stains with a damp cloth and mild soap. If necessary, wash at 30 °C using a delicate wash cycle, do not tumble dry. Iron inside out at maximum temperature of 150 °C.
